Kids Privacy Policy

1. What information do we collect about kids?
Kids can surf VirtualFamilyKingdom sites, view content, etc. without any personal information being collected. Personal information is not collected from kids unless they register on VirtualFamilyKingdom sites. Registration occurs when kids register to participate in a specific activity. During the registration process the only information which we collect from kids is the kid's first name, the parent's e-mail address, the kid's birth date, the member name and the related password. The birth date is part of the registration process to validate the age of our registrants, including kids. No other personally identifiable information is collected from kids during our registration process. At the parent's discretion we will also collect a kid's e-mail address from a parent which will be used for sending the kid e-mail related to the subscription. For instance, we could send a copy of our kid's focused Virtual Family Kingdom Kid's E-Newsletter directly the kid at the request of the parent of the kid. It is important to note that a kid's participation in all sites that are designed to support the involvement of children under 13 are prohibited by law from requesting more information than is reasonably necessary as a condition on the kid's participation in the online activity.

Additional information may be collected from parents to permit the kids to participate in certain features. Some of these features are specifically designed for parents to participate with their children, and these activities are not designed for children , but for the parents and the kids. These enhanced features may include instant message and chatting, sending e-mail, posting messages to forums and other similar activities which require the specific involvement and permission of the parent. These enhanced features may provide the parent options to limit the communications abilities of their kids. During the course of these exchanges additional personal information about the kid may be provided. All of these communications are available to the parent to review online. It is the parent's express responsibility to review and monitor these communications and determine the appropriateness of these communications.
2. How is the personally identifiable information about kids that we have collected used?
The information we collect about a kid is not shared with any other third party unless the disclosure is reasonably necessary, for instance, to comply with the law, including a court order or subpoena; or to enforce the Terms of Service or other rules or for the purpose of protecting the safety and security of other users and our sites.
3. How are parents notified to obtain consent for the collection of information from their kids?
When a kid registers we send an e-mail to the parents' e-amil and we provide the parents 48 hours to refuse their kid's registration. If the parent refuses to permit their kid's registration, the kid's informaiton is deleted form our databases. If we don't hear back from the parent, we assume the kid's registration is acceptable.

Prior to a kid being permitted to use a feature of our internet sites which are not designed to limit the disclosure of the kid's information to third partieis on the internet, we require that the parent provide both name and credit card information to confirm that permission for the kid to participate in the feature has been given. Additionally, the parent will be required to login and modify the permissions to make it possible for the kid to participate in the feature of the site. The credit card will be charged only for the subscription service that is being authorized.
4. As a parent, how can I access, change or delete the personally identifiable informtion about my kids.
. A parent can choose to refuse to allow us to collect further personal information about their kid. The parent can also request that we delete any personal information we have collected be deleted from our databases. The parent may either login to the Member Services Page with the login they were provided with the subscription service or by using the contact us form here. At any time parents can refuse to permit us to collect further personal information from their kid and can request that any personal information we have collected be deleted from our records. We use two methods to allow parents to access, change, or delete the personally identifiable information that we have collected from their kids.

5. How are parent's notified of changes to our Kid's Privacy Policy?
Our Kid's Privacy Policy may be amended by us at any time. When this occurs we will provide notice by e-mail to the parents of any material changes to the manner in which we collect, use, and/or share personal information about kids. It should be noted that parents should update their personal information so that it is current at all times and contains the current e-mail addresses. Material changes made to our Kids' Privacy Policy will be in conformance with applicable law, including those provisions of COPPA which require parental consent.
